Seven hundred years ago, An Que was saved by a mysterious dealer and became the Ace of Spades. She has been alive ever since, answering the distress calls picked up by a hidden system that tracks people at their breaking point and pulling back those who were about to give up on life. To do the work better, she joins forces with three present-day women, Lin Jiayin, Zhu Yao and Tang Qingqing. Together they become the Four Sisters of Spades, and each of them has something of her own to be saved from.
