Al-Kabeer succeeds in fulfilling the condition set by "Al-Shamama" by gathering 100 people from the village of Al-Mazarita who did not bathe on the day of Sham El-Nessim. This allows him to return to his normal size and resume his ordinary life, having previously been shrunk to the size of a "Tom Thumb" (a tiny, finger-sized figure). Marbouha, believing that Al-Kabeer has died during his absence, calls for Dr. Rabie to try and revive him using various comical, folk-remedy methods—such as employing onions and *toumeya* (garlic sauce). Upon his return to Al-Mazarita, Al-Kabeer finds himself in a series of ironic situations and humorous encounters with the villagers. He begins apprehending certain individuals—such as "Tabaza"—to add them to the list of people required by Al-Shamama.
