Season 10 Episode 56: Drone warriors - Autonomous weapon systems and the wars of the future

As the war on Ukraine rages on, drone technology is advancing rapidly — and fundamentally changing the battlefield. How close are we to the ultimate "killer drone"—an autonomous weapon that can select and destroy a target without human intervention? Does it matter whether death is caused by human hands or by a machine? Can we limit this technology to the front lines, or will it seep into everyday life? The film explores how tech drones are changing war.
